Integrating natural history, the unique individuals, and exhibit design allows us to create a list of desired behaviors:
- Foraging for fruit, nectar
- Hunting for insects
- Sleep in trees
- Grooming in a social group
- Vocalizing
- Object manipulation
- Locomotion – running, galloping, clinging to branches, leaping between branches
- Diurnal activity
- Arboreal activity
These behaviors may be encouraged through permanent exhibit structures, rotating items, social opportunities, interactions with keepers and more.
